Entertainment Asia uses an extensive database of resources and information that come directly from numerous local entertainment companies in Asia, government organizations and agencies, industry experts and academic scholars. Each of our reports seek to dispel some of the confusion and misconceptions about the Asia entertainment and media industry as information from the region can come from unreliable sources or in the form of the particular region's local language.
We have a multinational staff of writers and research analysts stationed in the United States and different parts of Asia that accurately interprets and analyzes news and market situations in Asia with both a domestic and foreign industry perspective. Our reports are designed to simplify and break down regional and cultural barriers that prevent foreigners from effectively penetrating the market and take full advantage of Asia's enormous potential and growth.
The Asia region is exhibiting exceptional increase in the entertainment & media sector. This is due in part to the rapid economic growth that has opened up markets wider for greater foreign access and investment opportunities. Asia is also witnessing two unique market trends that may be indicative of things to come in the future: local entertainment products are starting to dominate their own respective markets and Asians are starting to favor foreign entertainment contents that come directly from other Asia regions, as opposed to those that come from Hollywood.
It has become crucially important for Westerners to learn more about this rapidly emerging market and discover ways to profit from its growth. Entertainment Asia is positioned to be the most credible provider of global market intelligence from the Asian perspective with targeted research to assist business executives, investors and industry professionals who are seeking entry into the potentially massive Asian markets.

| Why is the Asia Entertainment & Media industry important? |
|
For the past few decades, major Western companies primarily based in the U.S. have been, and still are, the most dominant, influential global leaders in the entertainment & media industries. The ample amount of entertainment products that came from these global powerhouses provided a direct substitute for the lack of local entertainment contents created specifically for the Asian audience and as a result, were easily able to command an overwhelming market share in most of the Asia regions. However, with the rapid rise of Asia's economy and the increase in consumer purchasing power combined with the region's enormous population, it has become clear, even at its infancy, that the local Asian entertainment & media industry is no longer a niche market, but one that holds vast potential for profits and success.
It has now become absolutely critical for Western companies to learn more about this rapidly emerging market, devise proper business strategies, and quickly discover ways to profit from its growth. Otherwise, if current trends are any indication, the local strength of domestic Asian entertainment & media products and services will eventually be capable of sustaining itself with the regional profits alone, which would in turn mean that Western products will be secondary alternatives in the near future, not the dominant forms of entertainment they once were. In an era where globalization and worldwide distribution have now become even more crucial for long-term success, it would be costly to have Asian consumers gradually turn their backs on Western products in favor of local Asian entertainment.
Entertainment Asia has positioned itself to be the most credible source and provider of global market intelligence from the Asian perspective with targeted research to assist business executives, investors, industry professionals, or anyone who seek entry into the potentially massive Asian entertainment & media markets. Entertainment Asia's executive reports were designed to simplify and break down regional and cultural barriers that prevent foreigners from effectively penetrating the regional market and take full advantage of Asia's rapid growth. Entertainment Asia uses an extensive database of resources and information that come directly from numerous local entertainment companies in Asia, government organizations and agencies, industry experts and academic scholars. We have a multinational staff of writers and research analysts stationed in the U.S. and different parts of Asia that accurately interprets and analyzes news and market situations in Asia with both a domestic and foreign industry perspective.
